I only stayed for 1 night but friendly staff, clean, bright and airy room with tea/coffee facilities, iron and ironing board + hairdryer! The breakfast ( buffet style) was amazing and catered for all. I will definitely return.

4/ 5

Great spot for a backpacking trip layover in Glasgow! I was able to walk here within 5 minutes from the train station. Then reach most of the areas I wanted to visit within 20 minutes on foot. The staff was pleasant and the breakfast was good. I prefer this type of place to the larger international chains because it offers character rather than sterility. AND PLENTY OF HOT WATER IN THE SHOWER/BATH!!!! --- The simple things...

3/ 5

Stayed in a twin room for a long weekend. Location was great, close to Central Station & a good base for getting to local attractions, etc There is a good choice of restaurants in the area. As for the hotel - staff friendly, rooms very tired and in need of updating. The free WiFi was awful, not sure if due to our particular room or if it was like that throughout the hotel. Breakfast, a good selection including cereals, toast, pastries, fruit and cooked options - it would have been great if the cooked options were actually hot! Very disappointing - reception is open 24hrs & there are lifts to upper floors but one lift was out if order for 3 of the 4 days we were there. Loved Glasgow but the hotel was a let down.

Not a great hotel. It's in a great location. Very basic room on a slope, yes there's a slope in room

Not a great hotel. It's in a great location. Very basic room on a slope, yes there's a slope in room 209. There's also a mouse in the room. You could hear his little feet sliding and tapping on the wooden floor. The breakfast was good. I would probably stay again as we were out all day at the Celtic game and came back at about 9pm and went straight to bed. 6 out of 10

The bed was comfortable, the free food tasty, and the TV gave a good range of programs to watch. Every staff member I interacted with was helpful and did their job well. My room lacked a few essential toiletries, but apart from that, my stay was great.
