Pretty easy parking and a great location, bang in the centre of the universe (Manchester). Visited the restaurant on a Sunday afternoon and it was a great experience. Shared a Garlic Bread for starters followed by Mushroom soup whilst my wife had the Roast Pork. Perfect food, perfect service and well-priced at £42. Will definitely be visiting again.

Excellent meal, well presented and great, cheerful and friendly service. Full marks to their kitchen efficiency, as food was served fast and on nice hot plates. I've come here on business a few times now and they've maintained their standards. Highly recommended. Well done the Albert Sheds team! I'll be back.

I booked a table for a family meal celebrating a birthday, based on recommendations. Not knowing what to expect, I have to say I would go again! The food was great, well cooked and just the right amount. The staff were friendly and our waiter (receipt says Chelsey Fletcher, but not sure this was correct) was superb; he was attentive without being overbearing and we weren't kept waiting for food. The birthday girl was offered a complementary mocktail, the cake was brought without a reminder and the whole bill was less than I was expecting to pay - what more can you want!

Came here last night for some drinks, after passing by the are regularly on the tram and thinking it looks beautiful. In the evenings it’s lit up beautifully and the venue itself really didn’t disappoint when we got there. It’s almost like an old barn kind of building, really gorgeous decor and looks like a great place for food. However, I have to mark the experience down because your bartender made some really odd and just completely inappropriate comments. My partner and I happened to be wearing masks in the venue- it’s just our choice and makes us feel more comfortable when in a room with lots of people. At no point in the last year and a half has this ever been pointed out as a form of attempted embarrassment, but after I asked the bartender for two Peronis, he started pouring them and then said “you ok with them masks on yeah?” It seemed like an odd question, but we just politely said “yeah” and nodded, a little confused but no big deal. We were in a good mood as we were celebrating so it would’ve just been something we brushed off. He then said “so protecting yourselves then, yeah?” Genuinely even now I’m not really sure what he was intending to get out of that interaction, so confused we just said “Erm…yeah”. He then went cold extremely quickly, didn’t tell me how much the two drinks were, but pushed the card reader towards me and started asking the guy next to me what he wanted. Was a super weird interaction that honestly made my partner and I really uncomfortable. Considering he didn’t start serving others before finishing with anyone else, it seemed quite abrupt. We were hoping to bring my family who are due to be visiting next week for a meal but I’m honestly not sure I feel comfortable doing so. Edit: nice to know Albert’s don’t bother checking their reviews regularly! No response or reach out at all. Won’t be heading back.

Are you ever going to open up again? . The country is open. I'm hungry for Albert Shed. Went to Albert's in didsbury. Lovely place and good. Staff very attentive and a great atmosphere. Having the dj was awesome. Can we have him inside too. Upon arrival one Saturday evening in July, he was playing some great music. Oldskool. Anyway Albert Shed, please give us a date. I'm travelling to Manchester early Sept.
