This is the first time I have rented a property through Albany Lettings, the staff are so polite and get things sorted very quickly whether it be over the phone or via email. Claire has been amazing at dealing with our student property and she is very efficient!

Albany Lettings have been fantastic agents. Very responsible, personable and polite, they have dealt with any maintenance issues quickly and efficiently, and really went above and beyond when we had an emergency. Albany have always treated us with respect, not something all agencies do. I would definitely recommend them and rent from them again.

My wife and I recently moved to Edinburgh from the US. We came over with our dog and only had two weeks to find a place to live. Having visited dozens of letting agents in the city I can say with confidence that Albany Lettings is the absolute best!! Claire was a pleasure to deal with. She was warm and friendly even when we simply walked in off the street (not the case with 99% of the others). She immediately had two flats in mind for us that would not only be available for us by the time our short term rental as up but that would also accept our beloved dog. Something that all the other agencies said would be impossible!! Throughout the entire process Claire was polite, professional and always responsive to our inquires. With her help we were able to rent a wonderful flat in a great area (with a dog park right around the corner) that we are settling into nicely. Don't waste your time elsewhere, go strait to Albany Lettings!!!! Also a big shout out to Cameron!! Always a pleasure chatting with you when showing us the properties.

Albany Lettings has been nothing other than a pleasure to work with. It is easy to be at a loss when you've been scouring a city for rentals for months - It starts to become clear, for instance, that the pictures posted of the properties simply aren't going to be representative. This sense of apathy will be eased almost instantly with Albany Lettings. I can promise without a moments hesitation that your enquires will be dealt with efficiently before and after the move - you will never be left wanting. If you do chose Albany Lettings (and you really should) let's hope that you are lucky enough to work with Claire Gordon. You will find her to be professional, efficient and caring throughout the process. I cannot stress how easy and straightforward she made the move - She really is the personification of the ethos at Albany Lettings.

I'd recommend Albany to anyone moving to Edinburgh. After having a couple bad experiences with other letting agencies in Edinburgh, we were quite pessimistic and overly cautious while searching for our flat. However, dealing with Albany was very professional from start to finish.

I have been a tenant with Albany Lettings for 12 years now. They have recently been taken over by a new company with new staff, and although their service before this was perfectly adequate I cannot say it was without fault. The new Albany Lettings is a vast improvement and I would give them more than five stars if that option was available. They provide an excellent, professional service second to none. A special mention must go to Stephen Blaney who is exceptionally good at his job - punctual, polite, efficient as well as being friendly and approachable...and no, I'm not his mother. Highly recommended!

We could not recommend Albany Lettings more as a letting agent. Everyone we have met at the company is very friendly and approachable! They are quick to respond to e-mails, they respect our privacy and space, and they have been so accommodating to us over the last two years. We have never had any issues with this letting agent and we will be sad to leave the property when the time comes!
