Alamo Rent A Car – Glasgow Airport glasgow

Never dealt with a worse company in my life. Booked a car, went to collect at the right time only to be told there was no car and I they couldn’t issue a refund unless I phoned a number. Over an hour wasted on the phone to get a refund for a booking which was never honoured. Complete bunch of clowns! Staff are arguably the most unfriendly and unhelpful I have ever encountered.

I’ve hired cars from Europcar and Hertz and Glasgow airport previously, both of which have been time consuming and Hertz actually tried to accuse me of damaging the car (luckily I had photographic proof). I was worried that I’d have the same slow service and push on extras that I’d had with other rental companies. To my surprise Alamo/Enterprise were great, dealt with at the desk in around 5 minutes then another 5 minutes picking the car up including showing me round the car and how it works (Tesla) A great experience and it only took 5 minutes to drop off again! Only negative I would say would be the follow up call once I returned the car who asked how likely I would be to phone Alamo when I want to hire a car next time. They couldn’t see to get their head around that I wouldn’t call, but simply book online. 😂

Definitely the best car rental service that I ever experienced. It was minus 2 Celsius outside and snow covered all cars but our car (exactly the same which I reserved) was defrosted and ready to go! Ashley from car rental was waiting for us outside (!) with keys in her hand, ready to explain everything. The same when we returned the car, quick and smooth process. I have experince with rent a cars in Europe and I'd like to be serviced everywhere the same like in Alamo in Glasgow. Good job!

Super efficient desk. Competitors were jammed and had a long line of people waiting. We were in and out in two minutes flat. It's so good to someone to shake hands and say thank you for your business . Good job Sarah and team. Thank you.
