No emergency dentist present at all times, which is why I removed a star. I had an accident and a witness helped me locate this place, seems online it says there is emergency face and dental care available. Unfortunately there are no emergency dentist services available on weekends in this town due to covid-19, if you land in the same situation as me I can recommend Acorn Dental Care in Maidenhead (another town) if you can afford it. Otherwise all staff have been helpful and kind. After my failed attempt, the practitioner who triaged me has called 111 and did her best to fight for a dentist for me which I really appreciated. My waiting times were 1 hour for checkup and another 1 hour for triage on a Saturday afternoon.

We were told to see the orthopaedic registrar at 10am as my 77 year old mum broke her arm two days before. 6 hours later and we still haven’t seen them. It wouldn’t be so bad but she has been told not to eat or drink so she as about to faint. Receptionist at main a&e is blunt be and unhelpful. She just chatted to the other receptionist the whole time, didn’t even page him. She was not interested. Worst experience at a hospital we have ever had. You let us down. Badly.

I arrived at A&E after 111 had told me I needed ambulance assistance, so my partner took me in, to save resource as I live close-by. I explained my medical situation of sharp pains and unable to breath and that I am asthmatic. I explained to her I wear a mask whenever out even though I am exempt, but can't wear one right now as couldn't breathe - hence being in A&E. The rude short haired receptionist wearing glasses actually had a go at me and lectured me in wearing a mask. She was incredibly harsh and sarcastic. I again explained I couldn't breath and usually do wear one. She was that rude to the point I was made to cry while she signed me in. What the hell is this opinionated woman doing working here?! How dare she behave this way. Totally exceptable if I came in with a bad foot but was clear this wasn't the case with me. I was signed in and sent straight through due to severity of my symptoms and after this point was really impressed with the friendly staff and their speed in dealing with me. What a shame this receptionist is the face of A&E. She needs training and to understand what would make a patients health deteriorate, should they be bullied into something she deemed correct.
