We booked the romance package as it was our wedding anniversary, on arrival nothing was placed in the room. Spoke to reception and was told they had not received the confirmation although I booked it a month ago and they are not allowed to provide the service that should’ve included fizz chocolates and complimentary minibar this was not mentioned on their website. Eventually wine and chocolates were provided and 3 miniature bottles placed in the minibar. This was the only reason we chose the hotel in the first place and breakfast was in a paper bag that was inedible. This hotel was not cheap and it ruined our day out, I would not recommend this hotel and I have complained by email, we would not stay in this hotel again.

No, this hotel does not make sense. I am disappointed it is a Marriot. No parking space for guests. We just have to look for a paid parking space that night. The receptionist on duty was so rude and the floor of the room was cold(wooden floor not carpet) with no provision of slippers.

Hotel is clean and modern inside but is definitely not worth the money. It is in a terrible area and for people like myself who don’t know the area it is quite rough and run down and stations and restaurants are far away. I booked for 2 bottles of fizz and a breakfast. The room was small and the bathroom got flooded due to only being one door on shower. Breakfast was given outside door in brown bag. I have allergies and was given food I couldn’t eat and the range wasn’t big(a small cheap croissant, banana, apple, porridge). Bottles of fizz where miniature. Staff were friendly on reception so no bad review towards them more about the price for such a small room and bad area/breakfast.

Basic but convenient and part of the Marriott group so ideal if you are a points addict. The gym is rather small but functional, although they don't have any floor mats so it's not great for doing any core work as you get dirty from the floor! Easy fix but after asking a few times staying on a weekly basis there are still no mats in the gym :-( Hope you can sort some out soon!

Lily was an amazing receptionist who helped us check in and made sure the minor issue we had was rectified and handled professionally. We will definitely be staying again, as we are very satisfied and our stay is already fulfilled with great service!

The hotel is great! It's very clean and modern, the staff are lovely and the breakfast is pretty good! There's a carpark next to the hotel which charges £7 per day which is brilliant for Manchester. You can walk to the centre of town in less than 10 minutes too.

Nice hotel but the location is not that great. It is surrounded by road works. The room are nice too but there are some details need improvement - for instance the bathroom distribution which is uncomfortable. The door is quite disturbing as you can't gain access to the toilet. Also, just one towel hanger and we were two in the room. Also the shower has a very little screen glass and water gets out easily . And last but not least, lighting switches are confusing - they don't follow an order. and windows are totally dirty.
