8 days after reordering a prescription I needed, I had to phone to get the reorder put through again as my pharmacist hadn't received it. Thanks for telling me! I suppose I'll just pray that I don't need it over the weekend.

1/ 5

Have been going to this surgery for around 13 years now. I never really have to go in, but when I do - it's impossible to get an appointment! Phoned up around 2 weeks ago (after being on hold for 40 minutes - this was on a Wednesday afternoon, so wasn't a considerably busy period) and asked the receptionist if she had any appointments within the next 7 days, to which she replied no? I then asked "so you haven't got anything on either Wednesday afternoon or Friday morning?" - her response was that she had a few appointments on Wednesday morning and the following Friday. Why did she tell me she didn't have any appointments then, when she did? This happens every time I phone up, which is why I dread going in. If I ever have a medical issue, I avoid going in at all costs due to the stress of having to get an appointment. Now I have been off of my prescription for 2 weeks due to the useless receptionists making it impossible for anyone to get an appointment! Long waiting times on hold, when the receptionists never ever seem to be on the phone when you're in the downstairs waiting room? It's a shame that the receptionists let this surgery down when the GP's I have visited over the years have all been brilliant. It just seems like they're too overrun with patients.

If I could I would give them nil stars. I have growing lump on my neck so Dr Sood requested blood test for thyroid ,andascan .Blood resaults came back clean which means I don't have active or non active thyroid. My scan was also cancelled as "no further action required" I didn't receive any letter to let me know it has been cancelled!. I went to see Dr sood this morning again to explain that I am scared that it can be cancerous. Dr Sood explained it's not cancer but thyroid without any scan or biopsy!!!! He didn't want to give me specialist referral or order a new scan!!! I have waisted 6 weeks waiting for letter for scan when it was cancelled weeks ago! Dr Sood yet again said it's a thyroid and tryie to convince me that I can't feel any pressure from lump on my neck which is aside of a tennis ball! I demanded specialist referral and scan Dr said it will be 28 weeks or I can go private! Unbelievable!!!!!!??? I am changing my GP both surgery a d Doctors need improvements. Dr Sood laughed into my face that I create a problem when is not there. Well try to live with the lump on your neck Mr Sood. Stay away from that place I am changing the GP already!

The surgery needs to get you phone service updated. Firstly the phone lines are closed when the surgery is open. Secondly, why do we keep getting cut off when we get to 1st place in the queue. Thirdly, the computer system needs some looking into. The prescription hasn't been sent over to the pharmacy. Please update out details on the system. Finally, the receptionist needs to be giving people the correct prescription. Giving someone else's prescription, especially for a toddler is completely unacceptable. You may potentially kill someone with your negligence!!!

So hard to get through. Why are the appointments not computer based? Always found staff very pleasant when you can actually speak. Probably part of a bigger scheme to make it difficult to get through. Don’t blame the staff or Doctors.

Shocking experience over the last few days. Have called a number of times trying to get an appointment only to be told my call is important and 25 mins later they say they cannot take your call and cut you off. Then you are told not to go to reception to make appointments. Why are the shutting at 4 pm according to the website. Come on sort this out patients deserve better than this.

Waited in a queue twice got number one in the call queue to be told my call cannot be completed call back up again waiting in the queue get to number one and the same thing happens I Give It a third time I get through to somebody who sounded very miserable clearly hates her job because there are other negative reviews about the receptionist behaviour on here ear I don't know why they still work there if they hate their job so much and it's so dull I was calling to make a re referral appointment for something you sounded very miserable very unprofessional and just gave me words of effect they will pass it to the doctor to look at it it I was in the middle of saying something and she hung up the phone without even saying goodbye so it isn't even like she has cut me off by accident getting sick of these doctors I have been misdiagnosed by them had Dr Sood who has turned around to me before asking me what I think the problem is or what I think should be done about a medical problem when it's his job to find out the only thing that's stopping me going to a different surgery is the fact I do not drive I don't live far from it it and when I stay at other people's houses they are also not far from the doctors and it is a right hassle transferring to another doctors anyway plus they are pretty bad in and around the UK to finding a good GP well.... you won't find one

I can't get repeated prescription without talking to a nurse/gp what is impossible - I've been trying 2 weeks to call the surgery and nothing - most of the time you need to listed to automathed info then at the end "I'm sorry your call can not be taken at the moment please try another time" or you're placed in the queue only to be switched off later anyway. Sending emails has no sense at all.
