I had a great experience today with Graeme. He was helpful and enthusiastic about what I was needing for my wedding day outfit. The whole feel of the shop and quality/ design of 8 Yards was spot on. Highly recommended.

terrible service. Rude manager called Natalie. Adding extra charges. slipping in extra costs. Charging over £70 for hiring a kilt for a 2 year old!!. I asked for their advice for my son. Their advice was pick the most expensive option. I said, why did you add the insurance...Natalie told me " I am trying to save you money"... lol They had to alter Modern Douglas Tartan (one of the most popular tartans). They tried to bill me for the alteration because they were low on stock. Terrible experience all round.

We had planned to go to Edinburgh for New Years to an event requiring kilts so organised to rent off of 8yards online. Unfortunately due to covid we couldn't attend but we just found 8yards to be incredible helpful in every way possible, genuinely can't recommend them enough even though I didn't get to the shop. Top quality customer service.

Very efficient and prompt service. It was no problem for them to send kilt to our son in Bristol which arrived within two days!! Have used this company before and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again

Fantastic service from everyone we dealt with. We got a made to measure kilt outfit and all the staff were really knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Cannot rate them highly enough! They took care to make sure the kilt would last with double buckles to allow for waist expansion, and got the outfit ready in time for a specific event. Would recommend to anyone.
