Do not go ladies. Gel extensions is plastic tips you can do yourself at home. Everything is rushed, very poor quality. Bumpy finish, plastic cracked, very thin layer of gel, colour doesn’t cover full nail, edges rough, uneven, sharp. Wanted to treat myself as normally do my own gel nails and at a much better quality and standard. The equipment used at the salon is cheap and files are not cleaned after each person. Also, your nails will be done by different people just like a conveyor belt, it’s all about the speed

The environment is very welcome and warm. The hairstylist is very professional and patient. I didn't have any idea about hair colouring as this is my first time doing colouring . Followed the hairstylist's opinion and outcome is very fantastic. Can be recognised one of the best hair salons in Edinburgh.

The first and the last time. The service is just too horrible and I will never come back again. This is my first time providing a review. I went to Kami for nail extension and eyelash extension on 18/8/21. The person (Helen)who did both services was extremely unkind. The manicure process was so painful and I left the place with sores on my fingers which hurts whenever I wash my hands. Even after I told her my discomfort, she continues working on buffing my nails extremely aggressively. I have no idea why she was so impatient and rude during the entire time, when there was not a single customer waiting in line. Or not sure if her behaviour was a result of me being 3 minutes late for my appointment. She did not bother speaking to me and provided instructions with rude waving actions. For your information, this was not a result of the inability to communicate due to language barrier, as I am bilingual who speaks perfect Mandarin. When I thanked her after she finished my nails, she did not even bother looking at me. Next was my eyelash extension. I tried to explain to her the style I was looking for, based on my previous eyelash extension experiences, and she very rudely told me she cannot follow my previous styles and insists that I need to try something new. I wanted to opt for the £28 single eyelash extension (instead of the 3D eyelash) due to my short and thin natural eyelashes, which I know will not be able to support the weight of clumps of eyelashes (3D). However, I was given lots of excuses claiming that nobody does the £28 option anymore because it is an old method, and that option has very few lashes etc… so I ended up paying additional £10 more for the 3D lashes just for a peace of mind. I felt that she was just trying to hard sell a more expensive option. In the end I was given two choices and I opted for one just because I didn’t want to argue. The eyelash extension lasted 20-30mins maybe? When she told me it was done, the outcome was just horrible with empty patches. If Helen is going to reply “this is the style that you are looking for because you wanted a natural look” I am going to say that is bull****. I have done many eyelash extensions before and this is the most horrible and impatiently done session that I have ever experienced. After which, another kinder staff came to check on me and I told her my concerns, which she very promptly helped to resolve. I didnt kick up a fuss because I just didn’t want to waste a second of my time there. I have no idea how this shop receives so many good reviews. My experience is just horrible and I am better off not doing it 😡😢 ————————————————— Anyway, an update after day 1. Clumps of lashes started falling and the false lashes are weighing down on my natural eyelashes, making my eyes look even smaller 😭

I really wanna say thank you to Mr. Zhong for helping us complete my husband’s haircut. Zhong is very patient, willing to take our suggestions, and very enthusiastic to teach us how to take care of my husband's hair on the wedding day. A nice place to go!!
