This playground has two areas. One for older children and one for younger children. I saw equipment by G L Jones, Wicksteed, Kompan and possibly Hags. There is a green area for running around and picnics, ball court and outdoor gym. The playground is situated by the canal. My youngest daughter pretended the climbing frame was a ship, as it has a steering wheel.

There is a remarkably table-like stump that is an excellent spot for placing picnic goods such as wine, wine, olives, wine, and bread. If you want to severely impress the grey-cladded youths smoking around the trees nearby, this stump is a must.

It's a beautiful park with a lovely canal running past it, and lots of waterfowl to see... at the moment. Tragically the area is under threat from HS2, so go while you still can.

This playground has just been refurbished and has play equipment by Proludic. It has two areas (next to each other). One has a taller climbing frame. There is lots of different equipment including a rope swing and play car. There is a green space for running around and picnics and a carpark. Cowley Recreation Ground is situated by the canal.

Its really nice place for children of all ages to able to play on this play ground. The council did a good job building more facilities to play with. The only thing missing is no smoking signs for those who smoke inside the playing area while babies and toddlers are within two feet away. ☹
