Love walking our dog here & he loves it too. Never crowded, but a well used park land with open spaces, wooded areas, a clean river for dogs to splash around in, a stream and a large enclosed field (used for cattle in spring & summer) that is great if you are wary of letting your pooch off lead. A tranquil site considering the location is between Heathrow Airport and the M4.

A real hidden gem with such great grounds and amazing history. The site was used by the knights Temp

A real hidden gem with such great grounds and amazing history. The site was used by the knights Templar’s and is recorded in the Domesday book. Go and visit if you haven’t already. Walk along the paths and through the forest area / go off the beaten track and through the orchard. Walk along the river crane and visit St. Dunstan’s Church which has some famous residents.

Popular with dog walkers. Good for a 45 minute walk.
