Staff were lovely. More than happy to help me look for item I had seen advertised but not on the shelf. Lovely lady on number 7 counter advised me of a deal which was going on saving me more than £10.

Absolutely dreadful experience from specifically 2 women on the perfume counter who were rude and had severe negative attitude problems. But as usual, these types of people are employed in many retail stores all over London in particular, who are unable and unwilling to provide 1st class outstanding customer service. These people do not even know what class leading customer service actually is, started to speak in their language about me that i,m back again as i was purchasing a perfume but i don't know what was the problem with them. Boots, take note, you are failing to recruit the right people to work in your stores.

The shop is well-stocked, but when I was at the till paying one of the staff members made me feel really uncomfortable and kept persistently trying to push an offer on me that I didn't want. I don't mind saying no thanks once, but I had to say no about three times.

Items badly displayed, difficult to find things and near impossible when busy. Pharmacy is pretty awful, always have to wait at least 20 mins, I use a different pharmacy for my prescriptions because this place is too tortuous. I couldn't avoid coming here the other day as I had ran out of a product, checked online and saw they had in stock but when I got there, and finally found a helpful staff (the first one just shrugged his shoulders and told me 'I don't know this product' before rapidly scurrying off and disappearing into the crowd) who checked and didn't have in stock after all. I was asked if I wanted to order it in because it would be available for me to collect in a few days, fine I thought because it means coming in and straight out. Then the next part really raised my eye brow when I was asked to pay for it before I had the item! Yes we do this online, but in a shop? I never have good experience at this branch of Boots and avoid using the place unless in an emergency and I cannot avoid it.

Staff here work very hard to provide services and assistance as well as maintaining the store, despite often being understaffed. You can expect them to be empathetic and assist you as best they can. Unfortunately there's often a lot of items low on stock but at least the online ordering system is very convenient and you can collect in store free of charge (at the front tills). Quite a comprehensive store with a beauty hall, fridge for chilled foods (sandwich range is disappointing), photo printing machines, opticians and pharmacy.

Waited 40min in a cramped area of the store for a PCR test. Lots of other customers cramped into the same space waiting for prescriptions. Not all staff members wearing masks on the shop floor. Test was carried out in a small room took 8 minutes. £80 for the test is the higher end of the market. Next time I think I’ll use Randox who are more efficient and cheaper.

Always a good experience here, decent sized store and good accessibility. The only small downside now is, when I visited today the make up counters have now disappeared and have been replaced with much smaller shelved areas with next to no choice of products. Which is a shame!! Combined with House of Fraser gone, there’s not really anywhere where you can go and browse the make up and perfume anymore! However, I wanted to add that the staff member I was greeted by today was really lovely and friendly and helpful (Noria) and helped me with a new purchase from one of the beauty brands there. Thank you!! It makes such a difference when the person you meet in a store is so welcoming.
