Easily the most rude and unfriendly post office I have ever been to. The staff here seriously need to take a class in customer service or just plain human decency. My day is always ruined coming here because of the attitude and disrespect towards myself and other customers- it's almost as if they don't want our custom!
The last time I came in here I needed to send a letter signed for, and when I entered the store I was very rudely told I needed to wait outside. If I had been told nicely I wouldn't have minded at all but the woman was very impolite about it, and if it weren't for the fact I urgently needed to send this letter I would have walked out there and then.
The man working in the post office also has a very bad attitude- always rudely asking what's inside the packages. Once again, this is something I would not mind at all if he were polite about it, but because of his attitude it always feels more like an interrogation or accusation than a simple question.
Another time when I came in here I was looking at the magazines in the newsagent section, I lifted one out so I could see the cover as it was behind a stack of other magazines and I was, once again very rudely, told that I had to put it down unless I was going to buy it. I did not open it or read it, I was simply looking at the cover to see what it was. Needless to say I did not make a purchase.
I wish I could say that I would not return but I have no choice but to come here if I am sending a large parcel or need to send something tracked or signed for as there are no other post offices in my area. If you have any other option, like buying postage online, using a private courier or travelling to another post office I would highly recommend doing so instead. Take your business somewhere where they will treat you with respect and be grateful for your custom.
