Unless you want a HEADACHE do not join this gym!!!! I have been a member for several years and all I can say the quality of service in this gym has dropped significantly in the last couple years. There is way too much focus on SALES and non on EXSISTING MEMBERS. The receptionists don't know anything, sales managers don't know anything, no one working in that gym is on the same page. I can 100% guarantee if you ask 3 different members of staff in that gym a question - they will all give you a different answer. On top of the general lack of knowledge, laziness of staff and rudeness of staff (particularly the memberships team) the gym is declining in cleanliness. The swimming pool always had plasters or tissue in it. The gym floor has tissue in every machine, people bring in bags and just leave them lying around and a lot of men in the gym are so excessively loud and aggressive when using weights. The place is in shambles. I want to leave but am unable to do so because I am in a contract, but once it is over I will NOT be extending my contract. This gym SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, and its OVERPRICED of the LACK OF QUALITY you get.

Need a good training for staff behaving in also the cleaning quality is very poor the manager must take action

Agree with all negative review basically had appointment booked for 7.30pm running bit late and phone David Lloyd Heston just to check if that’s still be ok,That was agreed over the phone,arrived 7.40pm We have been advised to wait for 10-15 min coz sales consultant(Abdi musa) with someone,after 30min abdi finally turn up and ask us to wait for just another 5 min, abdi passing every 5-7 says I’ll be with you in 2 min and that was carried on for another 45 min. Abdi seems to be salesman exactly like salesman like in the meat shop running around asking people to wait and you will be next person to serve. Absolutely jokes,awful customer service. David Lloyd needs to take action and get some decent staff.

This is probably one of the best gym I have been to. It's not just a gym. It has 2 swimming pools (1 indoor, 1 outdoor). 7 indoor tennis courts (2 cushioned acrylic), 9 outdoor tennis courts, 3 squash courts, 3 badminton courts, Table tennis, Half basketball court. Everything is just amazing here! The facilities and services are outstanding! It may be a bit pricy, but you get what you pay for!

Sales team member - unprofessional. I went to visit the club for the first time and wanted to find a good place to move my membership. Asked for someone to chat with me and provide me a tour in the club. There was a young blond lady from the sales team who ignored me couple times and when I started to get angry she then asked what do I want form her. Then when I asked of a tour as this is my first time at the gym and want to know a bit more about the place - she did not move but tried to explain where is what assuming I will go away as fast as I can. Why bother sales team right? She then explained she has a meeting with another member so I decided to wait seeing her chatting and having fun (utterly inappropriate sitting on the sofa with someone who seemed to be a cute guy) I am really sorry but this is not a service I want to pay for and a club I want to join. I would advise sales team to be trained how to become a professional. And a little bit about the area - well not quite cosy as other David Lloyd clubs can be. Parking is a bit dark during evenings. The inside lounge/canteen area dark and somehow a bit dirty. I haven't had a pleasure to go through the other parts of the gym but there are windows at the parking space where you could see all the inside (with people exercising - which I assume I would find distracting and annoying to be seen by others from the outside. It doesn't seem to. be any privacy). I am not sure if the fees are appropriate for this level of standard and pleasure. I have seen bigger & better places and for that I used to pay £120.

A great tennis and badminton court. The swimming pool is big, the sauna and the steam room is spacious. The building itself could do with an update, but the facilities are great 👍.

I've been going to the club for over 20 years now. Just showed up the first time for a review on my google. I have enjoyed every part of this club. I love the women's changing room. I have used the pool and jacuzzi, like forever here. Coffee shop as well has lovely staff, always. I've had a personal trainer years ago at the gym(for my own personal reasons). It was cool. Used the mini golf range and the curly fries in their cafe is great. Don't eat it! You are going to regret as you will gain weight eating it but if you work out then have it once in a while. Warning! They are way too tasty. No issues with parking ever. I haven't been to any other David Lloyd except this one. Due to covid things have changed a bit but it's still as much fun.

Lots of exercise equipment all in very good condition. Indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Lots of racket sports facilities. Steam room and sauna. Lots of daily group sessions for adults and kids to join. Changing rooms with showers. Restaurant area. Everything is very clean and staff are very friendly and very helpful.
