I have been a patient at the Simpson practice since 2010. And my take on the place is all good. The receptionists are a tonic in themselves, always polite. The practice Nurses are down to earth and Sweet, And every Doctor that I have been helped by was genuine and professional in their concern. Can't really praise the place enough to be fair. So yeah it's a great Doctors.

Been to the walk in centre and told to get an urgent appointment at the doctor (which meant today) to be told i can't have an appointment until the 18th December absolute joke. I've now rephoned the walk in centre and told them the situation and they have told me to insist on an appointment which at this practice is not going to happen. I have to phone at 8am but you can never get through, I've phoned every day to be told go to the walk in centre and now an URGENT appointment is required I'm still not acknowledged. So who knows what will happen now. This is also a reason why A and E is so full. A new system is required as this doesn't work also don't take new patients on if you can handle the work load

Absolutely shocking surgery. Very difficult to get appointments there. I moved to another surgery because of the problems getting appointments and it took them months to send over my medical records. Basically been waiting 3 days for them to sign a prescription for potentially life saving medicine for my little girl and send it to the pharmacy which is just down the road. Even the pharmacist told me they are bad sending prescriptions over. DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND USE ANOTHER SURGERY, even if it means travelling further. Update - 6 days after requesting the prescription and STILL the pharmacy haven't received it

I have been with this practice since 2007. And I have to say the reception staff are with the exception of one very rude and horrible member and they all know who it is they are a credit to the practice and go up and beyond to help the person you has rung up. They know you by name and really Michelle and Lisa are extremely efficient at the jobs here with this surgery I the one receptionist who is really horrible and sorry to say they know who it is should not be working there as SHE really pulls it down and she is so VERY RUDE if it was not for Michelle and Lisa well it would be awful as the one receptionist really is just not suited at all and she needs to given the boot sorry but I really hate being in the reception room when she is there as many times I have sat waiting for appointme t and omg she is just so rude. And she glares at you as well.you need to get rid of her.

4 Months now I've had the exact same circumstances happen. 4 Months in which when I order a prescription it will take up to the 28th day to get it sent to the Chemists, even when taking into consideration the seemingly regular state of affairs has the prescriptions wait until after the weekend. I'd considered it circumstantial up to now, but with this month and my own doubts, I gave them the exact right amount of time to get them ready (not too early, not too late) and yet again its "sorry still with the doctor, will likely be Monday now." I can get them struggling due to the coof. I can understand them being overtaxed by staff being ill. But 4 months In a row with NO explanations whatsoever? I don't buy it is simply going to be "overworking", I have 2 theories and they should be up front with me on them rather than keeping the entire process quiet. Lets put it this way, I'll (should be) speaking with a doctor next week over the medication and I'll be explaining my displeasure with how their practice treats me. That will be the third person I speak to on this issue as well.

Worst gp back like 5 years ago they were good until new staff started showing up and started being rude the specially one of the reception my mother needs a urgent appointment when we finally got one the gp says you can only explain one problem per appointment plus she didn't even help she said we will receive a letterwhich never came so we had To go to the AnE at the end as it got worse. Don't even get me started on how they treated my brother that has mentall conditions. They need to be reported to ombudsman
