SpaMedica manchester

I'm writing this on behalf of my mother who attended for cataract surgery. She had nothing but praise for all the staff stating how kind, pleasant and welcoming they all were putting her at ease...that is apart from the actual surgeon who made her feel very upset ! My mum is a brave, sensible lady and deserves better ! She stated he had no 'bedside manner' at all! He was very abrupt to the point of being unkind! He didn't explain what he was doing at any point which made her feel very uneasy. Not good enough!! This guy may be very clever at what he does and gets paid highly for it but being unkind to an elderly lady just isn't good enough!

I cannot praise this place enough. From being greeted by Paul the Porter with a cup of tea to having my procedure completed by Peter the Surgeon. I was extremely nervous about the visit but every single member of staff went out of their way to put me at ease. To anybody else requiring cataract surgery I thoroughly recommend SpaMedica. After only 6 hours my sight is virtually 20/20 with only the very mildest of after effects. Cannot wait to have my second eye done.

The treatment I received was first class and the staff were considerate and caring at all times, my ease and comfort were their primary concern. I couldn't believe the difference in my sight a week later, everything is so bright and clear and colours are so vibrant...and I no longer need to wear prescription spectacles to drive.
