I have always had a very positive experience visiting here both as an inpatient and outpatient. The staff are superb and very friendly. The building is very modern and rooms are better than some hotels. Highly recommended.

Recently had two consultations, a CT scan and an operation (22-11-19) at Spire Hospital Manchester funded through my PMI policy and I can not rate the service I received highly enough. The Hospital is clean and well organised with good car parking facilites and a great location. Everyone who I interacted with from the receptionist, to the porters to all the nurses, the anesthetist, the theatre staff and the consultant who did the operation; thank you Mr Kumar, were all amazing and provided first class, professional and caring service. I've received treatment at a few different hospitals over the years and Spire Manchester is easily the best and fully deserves the outstanding rating provided by my insurance company and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else and you shouldn't either.

I had a poor experience when visiting this hospital for what I hoped would be a far superior experience to visiting the NHS. It turns out, it was much worse, if not the same. The hospital’s website claims that it delivers the very best level of care, diagnostics and treatment - and yet the consultant I saw didn’t arrange any tests, failed to follow up with me, took a stab in the dark guess at a diagnosis, then changed his mind after I emailed him to explain that I felt he had missed my diagnosis, and still expected to be paid for his time. I’m still left in the same condition, and having to look elsewhere for a private doctor at a hospital I can trust to stick to their promises when trying to take my money.

Absolutely superb hospital. Had the most fantastic care while I was here. The nurses are genuinely some of the most fantastic nurses you could ever come across and are such a credit to this hospital. All of the staff from the porters, to the nurses to the kitchen staff are absolutely wonderful and made my experience here so much better than it could have been under the circumstances. Highly recommended

The physio team are brilliant but the admin staff are utterly useless. Never answer the phones, invoicing errors and unhelpful responses when you do speak to them. I have wasted so much time on hold trying to sort things out with this hospital that I will choose any other hospital for future treatment. Our local NHS GP is better for customer service and that says something!

I recently had surgery with Professor Ged Byrne and I cannot rate this hospital highly enough! Fantastic surgeon and what a lovely team. Results are absolutely brilliant and I never in a millions years thought I would look like this. He really is a credit to Spire. The nurse attending to me was so lovely and the rest of the surgical team were really great. Compared to my previous experience at a cosmetic surgery clinic, I can say Spire were far superior in delivering care. Thank you!

Quite some problems with misleading online reservation system (virtual consultations becoming face to face and vice versa) Being a self paying private patient there was some confusion when I was billed for a second time for an expensive consultant's appointment, having already paid before the consultations. Receipts for payment apparently not issued automatically - needed several reminders each time for respective receipts to be sent. Some difficulty in receiving medical reports by post and by mail. 40 minute virtual consultation reduced to about 20 mins after consultant arrives 15 mins late. The original review was very negative, but Spire Manchester contacted me directly, handled my complaint seriously and offered explanations for many of the alleged deficiencies.
