This information centre is in a very good location at Piccadilly gardens next to the public transport information centre.literally at the top of the interchange.the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable.it hasn't the range of leaflets or souvenirs since it scaled down in size and moved to it's current location.still worth a visit for ideas of places to visit.

5/ 5

This visitor centre is well placed in the center of town, just off the gardens tram stop.and next to the travel information an purchase office. Inside the staff are quick to help and informative without being intrusive. There is a good selection of information packs and leaflets of what is available to do across Greater Manchester... Even for those who have lived here a while. Well worth popping in.

Had a bad experience here. We had ignorantly bought a day pass for the wrong bus company and went to enquire why all the buses we attempted to catch declined our pass. We were clearly confused and the staff member who assisted us was very unfriendly. We were spoken to like we had asked a dumb question and were given almost no further information as to how to get where we wanted to go. Completely opposite to how we've been treated in previous information centres.

No hellos coming in, but the old woman behind the counter did bark at me for looking round the corner where apparently it is no entry (no barrier, no sign). Despite her rudeness I talked to another woman who did help me find thingson the map, but did not seem overly enthused about Manchester.
