Worst experience ever. Even though the paperwork for the passport went smoothly. It is over 3 months when I have send the paperwork to renew my passport while my old passport has expired and they keep telling me to wait for the new passport and on their website it says that the tax is unpaid even though I have a receipt of me paying the tax. The staff that I have spoke on the phone are the most unhelpful staff I have ever met in my whole entire life as well as very rude and disrespectful.

The same experience like in Romania which isn't a plus. Employees with bad attitude and 0 social skills. I think all employees should have a free course of anger management it seems that they cannot control it. They aren't friendly at all, it's like they didn't choose to do this job and somebody is forcing them to do it. For me it was like going back in time when Ceaușescu was alive.

L.E.: To be completely honest, the paperwork processing itself went smoothly. So smoothly, that in LESS than due time we received both passports. You can upgrade it to three stars. :) The security guy at the door said: "There's a very little delay, of about 10 mins." Yeah, right... I am currently still in the large waiting room upstairs, on a minimum 1-hour backlog. There are people with babies, little babies, just a couple of months old kids... yet trying to keep their calm. Which is great, really. Problem is that any patch of soil - or wooden floors, for that matter - under the Romanian flag carries the same, unwanted attributes of motherland. Some of the very reasons many of us here chose to leave it behind. Gave two stars as the personnel (so far) is quite kind. And the toilet downstairs is fairly clean. Get better.
