Blackley Cemetery and Crematorium manchester

I visited Blackley crematorium today and was so impressed with the grounds, gardens, and magnificent mature trees. My compliments to all the hard work carried out there.

Very good cemetery and the church are warm and give you a homely atmosphere also very tidy grounds

Its quiet and peaceful. Full of birdsong early in the mornings. Blossom trees in spring, leafy and green in summer. Benches around to sit and contemplate, many dedicated to family members. Water taps available for people who like to leave fresh flowers and bins for everyone to keep the place tidy and respectful. Really feels like a place of rest.

Cant believe how unkempt it is...plastic flowers trinkets galore..none of it managed. Looks so scruffy.

Whatever people said depressed place, It's really nice place and I like it, the sort of flowers and trees, and very very clean street and green zone, wide place, a lot of chairs to sit there and pray for your lovely dear, totally recommended to visit and to see the way of burial methods and the shape of British cemeteries.

Been going to this cemetery for over 40 years! Mum, Dad and brother cremated here. Extremely well maintained and great staff!
