The Works is a good shop for lots of different reasons. If you have a hobby of mostly any kind they will have something in stock for you. If you make your own cards then you'll find everything you require here from papers, dies, borders etc. The same applies if you are an artist, brushes, paints etc. Stationary, books, cd's plus lots of ideas fir Christmas. At present the store has a dedicated section just for Christmas and loads of ideas for gifts. You can spend ages here just browsing.

JOSHUA, what a guy just like to say thoroughly nice lad and wanted to do nothing but help. Me and my girlfriend were buying two presents and he thought we were being over charged, he went to go get the manager just in case... But sadly the price was right ahaha. Just like to say thankyou Joshua hope you have a lovely day and great Christmas mate.

Great store. Loads of craft bits and bobs and I picked up a jigsaw here too! 1000 pieces for 6 quid. Really well made. Really happy with this store and glad to have recently discovered it. I'm sure I'll be back for the Game of Thrones board game/book collections at discounted prices!

It's cheap. That's the only positive. And it's not really a positive, because they sell tat. Total tat. So cheap is what it should be. If you like cheap tat, then I imagine you'd like it. But most people probably don't. So won't.

The Staff - on the floor ...and behind the counter where hospitable and competent in their product knowledge. I wanted PROCESS YELLOW ACRYLIC but only had LEMON YELLOW they told me to ring the other shop...I did and the reciever asked me to ring back while he checks stock at other shops. Unfortunately no shops in the Manchester area had any YELLOW ACRYLIC PAINT ...and the lat minute i picked up the remaining two cartons at The Quays shop for the bargain £10...👍🏻SORTED.
