Great place to stay, with all the amenities you need. The reason I am giving a 4 instead of 5 is because we were given a 2 bedroom apartment and not that we were going to use the spare room but there was signs saying that if we used the second room and bathroom we would be charged as an upgrade. The en-suite was not practical having only a bath tub with no shower curtain. To be totally transparent we stayed at the Oaks the previous days at the Sunshine Coast in a 3 bedroom apartment but there was no signage. We used only the one room and checked out the other 2 rooms we had no inclination to use them.

5/ 5

Stayed for along weekend recently, and ended up having to stay longer due to extreme weather event. Great location, next to the Pier. Very clean, well appointed apartments...spacious and well supplied. Bed was very comfortable. Roomy bathrooms with great water pressure and temperature. Comfortable living area furnishings. Reception staff were kind, friendly, professional and extremely helpful - especially considering we were stuck there for a couple of extra days. Room rates were very reasonable. Coffee at reception was delicious! Pool and amenities were very well maintained, clean and pleasant to use. We will definitely stay here when up in Hervey Bay next. Thank you!!

or $1000 a night we expected things to work and a clean room, as we entered we found the beer bottle caps on the window sill, decide to ignore as hey it does make a practical shelf and explore the penthouse, into the kitchen and we find the dishwasher broken, long enough for oaks to laminate a sign for it, stove top was functional well once you found the one element that actually heated, pots for cooking unusable as dented, perhaps someone hit the dishwasher in frustration after waiting half an hr for food to heat, toilet flushed if you pushed really hard, too hard for the toddler to get it to work so that was a fun ongoing show and tell,. Anyway off to the roof top terrace, oh wait the umbrella is broken and locked closed, surprise bathroom light also doesn’t work, back downstairs we go to find all the dining chairs stained, after a long day of Oaks Hervey Bay discoveries we head to bed and find another gift, the pillows came pre stained. Apart from that a great holiday away Staff to be fair were very nice l, politely told they couldn’t do anything as fully booked and efficiency charged extra for the coffees Be very careful falling for the penthouse advertisement if your given room 506 the caravan park down the road may be more luxurious

Enjoyed my stay in a spacious 1br suite overlooking the pools. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I can recommend some pampering in the Day Spa. Fantastic location, great food at the two adjoining restaurants, and the location overlooking the pier and bay is spectacular. Looking forward to my next visit.
