So pleased to have found Donna at Essence Griffith. Her waxing technique is always gentle and flawless. Highly recommend Donna for all beauty treatments.

Just had the most relaxing Sothys facial with Mel! I have tried a few facials in canberras at the larger day spa's and this was better than any of those. Mel gives the best face and neck massages. I will definitely be back when I need to relax and rehydrate!

Essence Salon & Spa is the perfect place to be pampered & relax. The service is always outstanding. I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else for waxing, skincare, and overall beauty needs.

Updated 19/02/21 - I want to update my review due to the the owner reaching out to me and we had a really good chat - I provided more detail which was not evident in my review and helped her gain more of an idea of my experience. Barbara was the opposite to my experience described below, I really appreciated her call and being able to chat without it being an argument of any kind - she listened to my genuine concerns and acknowledged my education/previous experience with the facial and products. I believe she will amend the situation below and ensure it not happen again. +++ Really disappointing experience - firstly, when I made my facial booking I was assured that the voucher aligned to the facial I booked which it did not. The facial itself was very poor value for money with no massage, going for only 35 minutes, minimal product use and incredibly over priced. I am able to make this comparison as I have had dozens of this exact particular treatment previously at another salon (I have moved to Griffith so wanted to try this salon). When trying to redeem my voucher and willing to pay any fee gap (although disappointed in the facial), the gap was so large I mentioned this was inaccurate information when I booked - the therapist then argued with me with invalid information which did not make sense and there was a complete lack of customer service. I am incredibly disappointed when I had heard lovely things about the salon, I wish I had known of a review like this!
