Empire Spa and Massage ( Under new management) under gone extreme refurbishing. – melbourne

While the customer service was good, it was The worst massage I’ve ever had. There was zero pressure, no order (back, legs, all over the place). It was like she was just quickly rubbing my skin. At one point she just dragged her nails over my legs. The entire massage was on my back, wasn’t asked to turn over once. I’m not actually convinced she was a masseuse.

Booked 90 minutes, told them I was gonna be late due to traffic and parking, they said no problem. Got there at 6.45 pm. We got into a chat at reception, trying to help the massage girl with her upcoming trip across Australia. All in good spirit, seemingly. Massage started at 7pm. During the massage the masseuse asked me if we could keep it to 1 hour instead, as she was hungry. She said reception was gonna refund the extra amount at the end. I said sure. Lo and behold, after the massage the pathetic receptionist all of a sudden decided not to refund the extra half hour, saying that the booking started from 6.30, cos that's what I had tried to schedule my arrival for. Note: I was the therapist's only client all day. She had no further booking, she just didn't want to do 90 minutes. Which is fine, except they took my payment for 90 minutes... Cannot believe the business owner is now trying to condone the lack of refund, as "up to the receptionist". Well the receptionist is part of your business, her stealing my money is your business stealing my money. And I certainly didn't "decline to do an hour". I accommodated the therapist's request to do an hour. Lies. Extremely shady business practice, pathetic receptionist, and lying business owner, will not visit again, even though the therapists are nice.

Great massage and they have a sauna aswell

Me and my partner booked a couples massage and it was so amazing, felt so relaxed afterwards and the 2 masseuses were so lovely, one being Stefany. Definitely will come back to empire spa!

Highly recommend! Had an amazing 60 min full body massage and 30 min spa. One of the best massages I’ve had in a long time. Good pressure. Proper spa treatment. Professional, friendly, welcoming staff. I will definitely be going back some time soon.
