This is not a review of the massage therapist but rather the administration and what you may expect. I made an appointment and had to cancel as I contracted Covid. I sent a message cancelling my appointment once I received the positive email stating I was now in isolation. I also decided to ring first thing in the morning to make sure the message was received and I did not inconvenience anyone. I was disappointingly told by the receptionist sending the message was pointless in a rather unhelpful tone. I was then asked if I would like to re-schedule and I then made an appointment for the following week. I was then asked for a credit card to which I replied I was in bed and not well. I asked could I ring the card details through later when I was feeling better and could remember where I had put my wallet. I was told by the receptionist she would prefer the card now. I went to get out of bed but felt unwell and started coughing and said again when I recovered could I just ring through later. A couple of hours later I was woken up by my phone ringing and it was the receptionist again asking if I had my credit card yet. I was so disgusted by this treatment I canceled the appointment for next week so I would not be harassed further. The Massage and chiropractic service providers could be be good, even great - I would not know and I do not want to be unfair to the professionals as we did not get that far but what I do know is there is a strong emphasis on being paid in advance by the administration which I was even prepared to do if given a reasonable chance to do so without being harassed It would have been great if the same amount of consideration and effort was made by the receptionist to the welfare of the patients and their health as she does to wanting payment. This is just an account of my personal experience for the record and I leave it to others to make their own decisions.
