We love our recent stay at Lilianfels. Whilst only just over 1 hour from home, it felt like we were transported to a world far away. Beautiful property, great service and delicious food. The spa facilities were also great. Highly recommended for that special occasion.

We started with High Tea in the elegant and spacious dining room - absolutely delicious but you need to be hungry and take your time. Then we moved down to the spa for facials and massages. I can't use enough adjectives to describe how wonderful it was. 2.5 hours of bliss, we were absolutely floating by the end. OK, it wasn't cheap, but this was a bucket list experience, and worth every cent. (In fact, now we're hoping to do it again in 2 years.

Nice old fashioned hotel. Rooms need a bit of updating. Food was nice in the restaurant. The beef cheeks and risotto were nice, a bit pricey but expected for a hotel. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Outdoor area needs a bit of updating as well. They have a Nice maze with roses when we arrived which was a highlight of their outdoor setting.
