This place is an institution. It is one of the final safe spaces and communities for the Carribean community. Our family have been visiting and buying patties from this place since the sixties. It is a warm and welcoming experience every time I go in and of course the patties are to die for! It is an absolute hidden Gem in Manchester. Long may it continue!

I would frequent as a child in the 1980's when visiting relatives in the area. I have fond memories of the smells and friendly staff. Good selection of Jamaican goods that are baked on premises. Desserts, breads and a menu serving Jamaican cuisine. This includes porridges, soups, meat and fish entrees.
