Booked a van over the phone yesterday to collect today, arrived at the branch £20 down from having to get a taxi, gave the gentleman my licence and was told there is a red marker and I can't hire the vehicle, turns out to be the issue I had with the Oldham branch 3 years ago when extended the hire of the vehicle I had, remembering the issue was related to having to pay another deposit for the vehicle as well as the rental because someone was new and had made a mistake so the vehicle then wasn't insured so they wanted me to put the money back in to cover the cost, had enough over the next few days because I wasn't paying a deposit AGAIN, I arrange for them to collect the vehicle, not happy. I had given my driver's number when booking yesterday and would of thought if there was any problems then it should of been shown then so not to waist any anymore of my time. I asked this question at the desk and the reply was the wouldn't of put my driver's number in the system. It just goes to show several members of the company don't do there job properly. Not happy at all!
