The guys at a Poolwerx Bundaberg are the best. Been to all the others but Doug and his team knew what they were talking about and fixed our problems where no one else could. He was very reasonable in his pricing and amazing service throughout. Can’t recommend them enough. Thanks guys!

We have a pool at our accommodation and hotel we run and it has been poorly managed for many years.

5/ 5

We have a pool at our accommodation and hotel we run and it has been poorly managed for many years. We called poolwerx to come and find out what was wrong. Doug came out and showed us a number of problems and sent us a quote to replace all of our equipment, which was broken down in detail as to why we needed to do it. But the quote total was close to $10000. Which we decided to get a comparative quote. Another pool company in Bundaberg came out and gave us a quote for half of that which was just a single page. The guy who came out assured us that all would be fine with some changes. So in the interests of saving a few dollars we went with the second option. The problem was that the pool has never recovered and so we called them back. After they eventually came to have a look they told us we needed a bunch of other stuff. Which eventually cost us another $3000. And then the pool still wasn't right. They replaced parts under warranty within the first month, and the pool still wasn't right. And then they said it was the water chemistry and it cost us nearly $2000 more to get the pool looking good. It has now been over a month since then and the pool water is still murky, but the company we went with doesn't even return our calls. So I went in to see Doug at poolwerx and took everything in that they had done. He got out a highlighter and flicked to a couple of pages of the manuals they gave me to show me that what they put in was not only not suited to the pool but it didn't even suit each other. I am livid, as is my partner. But the company we got who I will not name and shame on this post refuses to do anything about it. So we are looking at adapting the system we now have to suit, which will costs us another $3000 or starting again. Honestly at this point I don't know what to do. But I will say this to anyone who reads reviews, if you are having problems get Doug from poolwerx around because he actually knows what he is talking about. It may cost more than other quotes, but at least you will know it is right. You get what you pay for. What we have is a completely wasted wad of cash that we didn't have to begin with because we tried to save a few dollars. 5 stars to Doug from poolwerx, I wish we had more sense to go with his recommendations from the beginning.
