Amazing service. Great assistance and guidance from Sue and Jade. Very friendly and spent so much time helping me choose whilst offering practical advice. Coupled with the price, why have I never got my glasses from here before?

I have never had such terrible aftercare from any one as I have from Asda opticians. Three assistants wander about, stopping to chat or complain as the queues grow longer. Glasses can't be found for waiting customers and none of the staff appear to be able to do anything on their own. I asked to make an appointment and was told flatly "no". I would have to join the ever longer queue and wait. It is rare to be treated so rudely, particularly as a long standing customer of one of the world's largest companies. Boots opticians altered my glasses with no charge in 5 minutes and I'm not even a customer. Avoid like the plague.

Eyetest seemingly had an error. product snap after a year and appears very understaffed. They're relatively cheaper than other stores I've found. Snowed under and under-resourced. Suggest eyetest elsewhere then telephone book in to dispense here if value a big priority.. (Long queues to eyetest here, quoted some 6 weeks today. Even 2 days for the dispense appointment. Prob a reason why they often just don't answer the phones) Stay away from the brittle plastic frames, buy metal or something more sturdy. Less stress usually elsewhere, but pay for it. &probably even more risky online. So there's no overall good thing in this market at all apparently. Just pick your poison.

Had glasses from here previously with no issues, This time was a totally different experience. I had to revisit 5 times, taking time out of work and they still couldn't get my glasses right. I told them about previous issues with the corridor in my varifocals but they didn't seem interested, every time i visited i saw a different person and had to explain everything over and over again. In the end they told me that i would just have to wear them and get use to them, even tho the optician who did my retest told me that the lenses they gave me where the wrong ones! I did eventually get a refund, although i paid cash they would only refund onto my card! I got the impression they just didn't want to remake my glasses, probably due to cost, plus the dispenser who issued the refund was so rude and ignorant with me! I would avoid and purchase from somewhere that actually appreciates the custom.

I've had excellent service and advice at the optician in ASDA Eastlands and wouldn't hesitate to recommend. The eye test I received today was the most in-depth examination I've ever had. I didn't feel rushed and can only praise the understanding of all staff concerned.

Probably the worst customer service I have ever known , manager had a "you can't talk to me like that " attitude, when you have a valid complaint, cheap plastic frames at highly inflated prices, would definitely not use them again, left me high and dry without glasses, firstly your a customer not a patient!🤬
