The Stirling Rockhampton – Rockhampton

Room was very nice and comfortable. For any queries, the staff at reception or the bar area were very friendly and would go out of their way to assist if there was an issue or we wanted a suggestion on something local. The restaurant is a little expensive, but the pork ribs are the best I have had for a very long time.

The staff are so lovely and helpful. When I checked in, it was the acting manager who checked me in and he was so helpful, friendly and just down right awesome. The room was perfect, it was a pet friendly room and you would have never known that other pets had ever been in the room, it was a great size, the beds are so comfy, everything we needed in the room, beautiful restaurant with amazing food and for the price OMG you can’t go past it, it is just amazing. We will be staying here again for sure, when we are in Rocky again, our new go to motel for sure. A very big thank you to The Stirling Motel Rockhampton team, great work 10 out of 10.

Nice comfy room but unfortunately the people smoking outside their rooms made our stay very uncomfortable. Might as well be a smoking room. Angie the manager is very lovely and rooms well serviced. Nice to have laundry facilities for only $4. Highly recommend the big breakfast. Our disappointment was a charge of $32 for a glass of red wine for dinner. Hubby asked for double shot of red wine. Expecting a ordinary brand

Another excellent stay at the Stirling while in Rocky for work. Such friendly staff and service. Central location, comfortable and clean rooms. Highly recommended.

We made a booking which we then needed to cancel due to my son testing positive for Covid, but as it was less than 24 hours notice we stood to loose the entire cost of our booking (4 days). We tried calling the motel repeatedly to see if they would waive the cancellation penalty, but every call it just went to a message bank and we never received a call back How does a motel operate when they don’t have anyone answering calls at reception Bloody disgusting!
