Lovely staff. Clean hotel but basic. Cleaners do a great job. Breakfast is lovely but tinned mushrooms and grilled tomato. Selection of cereals, toast, croissant etc as self serve but it all comes quickly so you're left with your cereal and your hot breakfast at the same time. So the only criticism is that the waiter is too good at his job .

I booked a simple room with no windows. It was a little bit hot. But at the same time it was clean and quiet. The location seems to be a little dangerous depending on the day. But It's good value for money. :))))

Horrible experience. When I got there, they told me that my room is broken. I thought they are going to give me another room, but apparently they had no empty room, so they looked for another room in other hotels. After wasting my time for half an hour, they sent me to a hotel so far away from theirs. I also had to wait behind the door of the next hotel because there were nobody for like 10 minutes to open the door. They also made another mistake: they booked the other hotel one less night than I had with them. I had to remind them that and after that they reserved another night for the last night too. Also in the new hotel I had to wait for more than one hour because they could not do a simple reservation properly! Horrible place, so incompetent! PS: I had to pay around CHF 15 just as the cost of calling them. Plus they wasted more than 2 hours of my time.

Nice and clean room, adequate for my one night stay but I would happily spend a week here. Check in was easy and the staff, especially the manager where very helpful in sorting out a slight problem I had (I booked wrong day by error). The manager got me a direct line to call the agent whom I booked with and luckily enough the matter was swiftly sorted out after a phone call I was given a twin room instead of a double bed, but this was fine by me as I was on my own and the two beds where very comfy. I must admit the room itself was better than expected for this price. This was my first visit and I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Love this hotel. Always the first place I check when visiting Manchester. They have a range of rooms to suit everyone. The executive rooms are cheaper than a basic room in other hotels. Staff I have seen are all polite and efficient. It's lovely, clean and central location. My must have!

Great location for Central Manchester. Perfect for gig at O2 and visiting Christmas markets. Price is very reasonable. Room clean and quiet away from hustle and bustle outside. Good size room. Hotel is being upgraded so parts of the hotel appear a bit worn and in need of redecoration. Staff are friendly and being able to leave bags when we checked out allowed us to extend our break. Small bar in hotel not much of a selection of drinks, but there is a wide choice of bars outside the front door. The outside entrance to the hotel is a bit underwhelming - the sign is not illuminated so gives an impression of it being closed. Good price for a Central Hotel to use as a base for your visit.

Lovely, simple room. Great to relax, good use of space offering tea and coffee (in the cupboard) a television, a book on Manchester, and a desk. Pleasantly surprised to find a bath, great value for money. Location is 10/10, absolutely delightful little bar open until late. I stayed in 416, one of the double windowless rooms. Would definitely return. Thank you!

My Husband and I had such a marvelous overnight stay in November that We've booked a Weekend stay in December. Can't fault the awesomely comfortable bed or the decor and lighting in the room, great bathroom, wonderful Breakfast Buffet and Superb Coffee and delicious cooked breakfast. We're so looking forward to returning.

I think it's a perfectly good price to quality ratio. The room was nice and tidy. The staff was very polite and helpful. One thing though - the window wasn't quite sealed and the noise from the street was bothering me in the night. I had to get earplugs. When it gets colder I can imagine it would also lower the room temperature significantly.

Alright. Very central. Bit tired looking. Very reasonable if you book in advance but gets expensive especially busy weekends. Great thing is they do a late check out for a reasonable extra charge!
