Nice staff. Breakfast offering poor if you're vegan or veggie. Toilet seat wouldnt stay up (infuriating) and the shower needs fixing as you cannot fix the height and therefore was suitable for those 5' and under. Room was clean, same cannot be said for the windows, which ruin the impressive view.

Just what I expected from a hotel. Comfortable convenient and polite staffers. If you need anything like room service.. Non existent. Go to the reception and ask for what you need and get it. Other than that I was indeed a happy camper.

We stayed in the hotel because it was super convenient for what we had planned. The bedroom was acceptable - the shower not so much! While showering the lamp fell down on my friends head who stayed in the room with me! We had one of the twin rooms on the 7th floor. The shower was full of mould and also when you squeezed the shower gel it came out black and smelling rotten!!! We both highlighted it to stuff but nothing changed. Also they told us in specific that the breakfast was open till 10.30 am I went down at 10.00am and got told that they already closed breakfast, the whole food was still displayed and at asking if I could at least grab a croissant and eat it in the room I got denied and told again, that they already closed the breakfast and I can’t grab anything to go for the room. Really unfriendly stuff at the breakfast room!!

Great stay. Good value for the area, room was well kitted out and the shower was hot and high pressure. Full range of freeview channels on the TV and the WiFi was pretty fast. Breakfast was good and served from 0630. I parked at the Euro Car Park around the corner for £8.50 for 24 hours with the holiday inn discount.

We stayed here as it was very convenient for the Palace Theatre only two minutes walk. Also literally around the corner from Oxford Road station. A little confusing when we arrived as the reception is on the lower ground floor but wasn't a problem as there are two lifts and signage. Staff super friendly and efficient. Got us checked in early so we could be on our way. They do have a secure room for luggage. Included breakfast was buffet style and offered hot and cold food. Nice room with separate shower room and all very clean. Tea and coffee facilities and a hairdryer. My only complaint was that the bed wasn't very comfortable caused by a sagging in the middle. Other than that I will be using this hotel again.

Checked in and were given our room key so up to the room we headed. Opened our hotel room door and A MAN WAS ASLEEP IN THE ROOM! So we went and informed reception (obviously) who said that no one should have even been staying in that room last night!! They were in no hurry to get him out either, so we ended up not having a room until a few hours later. Well, I wish we never got a room...the room was FILTHY. Stains, dirt and grime everywhere. The TV remote was covered in a thick brown layer of grime. No hamd soap provided! Instead they had given us a bottle of body wash next to the sink?! We ended up not staying the night because it was so disgusting. I have never in my life seen a hotel so disgusting. Thankfully got a full refund through booking.com. do not stay here.

I actually didn’t get chance to stay as I have tested positive for covid. I contacted the hotel to advise of this, spoke to an extremely helpful man who cancelled my booking free of charge. We have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions and it is brilliant. The location is wonderful, hotel is clean and breakfast is lovely. Hopefully will be back when I am able to travel again!

This is the second time I've stopped here and I will definitely be back. The hotel is close to Canal Street and lots of bars. The staff are very welcoming and helpful.

Great location, handy for our needs whilst in Manchester. Room was OK, bathroom fan booming all night (note I only slept in the room for a few hours) mentioned at reception to save another user but felt it wasn't really taken on board.

Only positive is that the room was relatively clean and the hotel is in a good location. Cons: . Room ridiculously hot, no air con, can't open window. . Breakfast bang average and plastic cutlery come on what's all that about, you might as well have card board plates as well, save on the washing up 😂
