First the positive; the two staff were very polite and doing their best under the circumstances. Negative; I had to wait 2 1/2 hrs, even though I arrived at just after 9am. There was only 1 person doing all the paperwork and a lady doing her best (under difficult circumstances) to sort everyone and get them through. Apparently there should have been 2 persons on the visas but 1 was off sick. The office is tiny. So many people couldn't be processed because their paperwork was wrong. Thank you for getting me through...eventually.

I had a truly amazing experience with this consulate .I had not only made a few mistakes but my original application had expired The lady helped me complete the form. I was allowed to work through the dinner break. She was a wealth of information and expedited the whole process. If only some of our own institutions were half as efficient...Great introduction to Russia... Really looking forward to my trip...Thanks so much..

Victor was very helpful and efficient. He was very patient with everyone and explained everything in detail. He was helping people with their applications correcting their mistakes and then explaining how to re-print the documents again. He was quick and efficient whilst processing my application and showed a great knowledge of the process. Thank you, Victor and keep up the good work!

5/ 5

Having visited London and their previous location in Manchester over the past 5yrs, this was by far the BEST experience I've had. Alex was professional and very helpful. I made a few errors on my application but Alex gave detailed instructions on how to change and update my application while I was there. He reprinted the updated form for me to sign and even helped to pdf and email the application ( I'm a bit of a technophobe ) Only took 25mins of which 15mins I spent changing my application mistakes. Alex offered an express service of a 7 day turnaround. Received a text message 3hrs later to inform that all of the paperwork and my passport were sent to the Russian Consulate. Been to Russia many times over the last 5yrs and having witnessed Russian bureaucracy 1st hand and how slow things often happen, Manchester Russian Visa Centre is the complete opposite. Excellent service. Friendly and polite. Well done Alex and your colleague who dealt with a young lady who had many things wrong on her application but was still patient and polite.
