Really disorganised. Poor communication between GP and them. Have to call repeatedly to get any prescription finally sorted. Their website directs you to a third party company without telling you that - and the number for prescriptions sends you to a fax machine. This is not rocket science but they seem incapable of doing what they are supposed to do -- get your medication to you without turning it into a job for the patient. Pathetic.

Friendly modern pharmacy attached to Ancoats Primary Healthcare Centre. Very helpful staff with local knowledge. A good variety of reasonably priced health and beauty products. There's a small seating area and easy access for wheel chair users, though the area around the counter can get crowded at busy times.

I had an appointment with a GP and was given a prescription sent directly to this pharmacy, which I explained to the pharmacist upon entering and saying: the prescription has just been sent here for me. After the long wait I got the medicines, went home only to realise that the prescriptions they filled were not from that day, but from the 18th of November and another one from July! So I didn't get the meds I needed, I got the meds I didn't want. Went there today to try and get the yesterday's prescription and also returned the wrong meds. I was able to return only the ones from July. The ones from the 18th of November were deemed 'recent'. I didn't hear a word of apology. Also, I noticed that the security is pretty low there. Not like in any pharmacy I've been before, here you don't have to spell your postcode or anything. They hand you the meds as if they were candy and as long as you know the name of the person you could easily claim their meds. Also nobody asked me whether I've taken them before or something. I had a 'we owe you meds' handwritten note sticked to the package and nobody said a word to me about that either. Only upon going home I realised that it says I would have to go back for the rest.

Excellent service, professional & wonderful people! K's is my Chemist since I switched to them after a dreadful experience with Boots at Piccadilly Gardens. I have never experienced, neither in the UK nor in Europe, the level of professional assistance & care that I have received by all the staff at K's. One of the best things is that they have a direct contact with my GP, so I am always looked after when needed. I know I should not mention anyone in particular, but I will make an exception for Laura: thank you for all your support & kindness, especially during lockdown. Thank you, all!
