Actually a really good gym on campus. Loads of deadlifting pads, the most I've saw out if the 4 gyms I've been to, 2 squat racks. There is a larger range of equipment I've seen in this gym than any other gym despite its size. I only come from a small town so the gyms don't include incline bench presses (the gym group and pure gym) and some don't even have bumper plates (pure gym). Staff were always nice too and the price is the cheapest you can get so excellent value for money.

4/ 5

The girls lockers are nice and clean, so are the showers. They also get nice and warm once you’ve run them a couple of times. The gym itself has most of the equipment required, and a good CrossFit room. The only things I don’t like are, that the area with mats for stretching or doing other workouts is very small, and that I am missing one or two mashines. Altogether I enjoyed the time spent at the gym.

They now use a private parking enforcement company to charge facility users to park here. £70 breach of contract fines for going over the time you've paid for. No reimbursements of parking charges are offered for those paying to use their facilities, with charges applying 24/7.

5/ 5

After browsing the internet to see what the gym looked like I judged the book by its cover and thought this will not do for me, however I decided to have a physical look since they don't really have a proper website and I was impressed by the functional training room which is something I love using....I have now been going to it most days of the week and doing nice long sessions...so if you are not big on machines but love Olympic bars, kettlebells, jumping boxes etc....then this is for you. They do have machines but not enough to go around during peak times.......Enjoy!
