Large, excellent selection of books for a bookshop vs an online shop that can stock an infinite variety. Cafe sells good coffee and tasty selection of food. Toilet facilities available on 2nd floor. Lifts and escalators as well as stairs available for every floor. Store staff are super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Waterstones is my favourite haven in the midst of the hustle and bustle of Manchester

A great store on more than one level. Spacious and comfortable, an enjoyable place to be in. Cafe too. Great art section.

I and my 13-year-old son spent a Sunday morning there while visiting Manchester. Nice atmosphere and comfortable sofas to relax and read. Great selection of books. A café on the top floor.

Lovely place to be to quench your curiosity. The place where you see so many people trying to fulfil what their mind desire. Books are classified and shelved appropriately. The shop is located in the heart of Manchester. Pity, not enough staff to assist eager shoppers.

My first time visit to this branch of Waterstones was today I have visited several other branches of the shop but I was taken aback by the sheer size of the place , whilst the ground floor seems large , there are 2 more floors which seem even larger than the ground floor. There are sections like children's books and science fiction + fantasy, which have a whole room dedicated to them , it is easy to spend a few hours browsing, well worth a look

This was my first visit to this venue and it did not disappoint. I attended a Halloween Night lecture on Serial Killers. Great room, great staff, nice wine. Just lovely

My favourite Waterstones by a mile! Staff are always super friendly and helpful. Such a beautiful shop, I love coming in here for a moment of calm and finding a new book to buy. Stationery selection is wonderful too.

Only been once while I was in Manchester but I was very impressed. The staff were friendly, everywhere was neat and it was easy to find what I wanted. Now the elephant in the room is the sheer size of their collection. The walls of every floor were stacked with books off all sizes and genres. I would highly recommend popping in for a visit if you are in Manchester. There is even a cafe for you to sit and read in, although it was closed when I visited.
