5/ 5

First time ever at Dragonfly Spa and it was absolutely lovely. The spa environment is peaceful, tasteful and relaxing, with natural woods, comfortable furnishings and treatment stations, in the charming and restful courtyard of Burwash Manor. Dragonfly Spa staff are universally friendly, helpful and very accommodating, willing to be flexible with scheduling, and helping to make the experience even more delightful with cups of hot peppermint tea. Top quality products are applied across the board, but not overdone. Special thanks are due to Nicola Jane, whose calm, kind and elegant manner and outstanding skills with manicure / pedicure are only echoed by her excellent abilities as an expert masseuse who understands and takes into account client preferences perfectly. Particularly worth noting that not only are the facilities spotless and beautifully arranged, but there is very little plastic used in treatments or generally - a natural, luxurious, eco-friendly space and methods, without hint of pretentiousness. With over ten years in location, there is a feeling of permanence and comfort that is very welcome for repeat clients. Overall, highest and very warmest commendations are due, from a happy first-time client - who shall certainly be coming back as often as possible! - Marie-Claire

A terrible experience. Walked into the treatment room to see a large sheet of paper (like at the GP on the examination table) over the massage table; learned that the spa doesn't change towels between 'minor treatments'. Gross. Booked a deep pressure massage, but the tiny and awkward message therapist could barely work up enough pressure to qualify as Swedish massage. Walked out after ten minutes. When told manager about experience, didn't get an apology or any kind of offer to make-up for what happened --- just told that 'everyone is different'.
