5/ 5

Stayed at the Best Western woodland hotel for 1 night the staff were friendly, helpful and very welcoming, i booked a room with a king size bed, the room was bright spacious and clean but was really warm even with the windows open luckily the room came with a desktop fan that helped cool the room, i was disappointed with the king size bed turned out to be 2 single beds pushed together however still managed to get a good night's sleep, i was also disappointed with the view from the windows considering the room was on the top floor, the view was parts of the hotel's lower rooftops & neighbouring housing, i was looking forward to seeing the waterfront view as the hotel was almost a stone's throw away from the waterfront and a good height for a good view but sadly it wasn't to be, the hotel's bar and lounge was homely spacious and clean with a good stocked bar, the swimming pool and gym area's were clean and relaxing but again i was disappointed that the sauna was out of order however i did make use of the Jacuzzi, steam room and swimming pool, overall the hotel was lovely the staff friendly with a welcoming atmosphere, hopefully be back in the future.
