I used to stay fairly regularly for work at the Apex in Dundee. It was fantastic to see it has been refurbished and the restaurant and bar is looking good and really impressive. We were also lucky that the pool and spa had reopened, so made sure to make sure of that before breakfast. With its location and large free parking, it's my preferred hotel in Dundee. A big thanks to the team for looking after us and making us feel at home as always. We look forward to going back

Lovely, clean and comfortable room with very friendly and helpful service. Amazing views from the hotel room. Great relaxing complimentary use of spa including gym, pool, sauna and jacuzzi- all at great standard and perfect to relax in at either end of the day. Great location for town and to come from the station. Very enjoyable stay all round.

Excellent reception staff. Helpful staff. Good food and drink. Comfortable rooms with excellent ensuite bathrooms. Free parking behind the hotel with easy access to all the main routes. Railway station approximately 5 minutes away by taxi. New Victoria and Albert Museum and Discovery Point about 10 minutes walk away. Was on a bed and breakfast basis. At this time in Scotland table service only. A pint of Pale was £5. A measure of whisky £7.50. Would happily stay there again.

Expected standard for a four star, everything was just right - except for the hot water this morning. Imagine 200 unwashed people at a conference! Probably an isolated incident. Breakfast was good and served quickly despite being busy.

Trainee on reception, when I booked in, very pleasant apologied for being slow. Not a problem, everyone needs to learn. Requested a fan to be in room and it was there. Perfect. Partner on caffeine free tea and coffee, so asked the cleaner (Emma) for a couple extra. No problem at all, extremely pleasant,. Every morning same cheery greating , asking our plans for the day. Room was spotless and comfortable. Staff at breakfast also very pleasant and helpful, nothing was too much trouble.. Nice touch that the bottled water was also replaced every day as the coffee and tea. Would definitely recommend, great position in the city and great hotel and staff.
