I spent the afternoon at the spa. The facilities aren't the most luxurious but it has a great pool, sauna and steam room - everything you need. Plus it looked as though they were updating the area. It was however very reasonable, just £40 for a spa taster session including a 25 minute treatment, coffee & cake, so its brilliant value for money. The stand out of day was by far the therapist Mia - she is amazing! I felt incredibly relaxed in her company, she was so professional and is just a great masseuse. I couldnt recommend her enough! My only critique would be if a robe could be offered for spa day guests and also the conservatory was beautiful to enjoy the coffee and cake but it was a little dusty! I would definitely return :)

A nice place relax and very friendly staff. We were very impressed by Rachael who made us feel comfortable and looked after well at all breakfasts - we would drive away after breakfasts to sight see other areas during our stay.

Pleasant golf club hotel restaurant. Very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent food. As with most other restaurants there's a slightly limited menu at the moment, but still a reasonable choice. Everything we had was very tasty and well cooked. Good social distancing All staff in masks, worn properly. Everything properly cleaned. Restaurant is mostly in a big conservatory extension to the main building, giving great views out over the surrounding countryside, which is quite beautiful. Only 3-4 minutes drive from Blakehill Nature reserve if you fancy a nice walk after eating. Sorry that some of the food pictures don't do it justice... I was so hungry that I started eating before I remembered to take the photos...

Absolutely awful. Rude bar staff, dirty gin glasses. Very dirty in the conservatory area hadn’t been hoovered for weeks and had an accumulation of dead flies and wasps everywhere. Rooms were dirty. We were also told the cooked breakfast was off the menu and it would be a grab bag for breakfast. We asked for a refund and left. This hotel is more like faulty towers. Avoid at all costs! Very tired dirty hotel and staff weren’t much better.
