I've stayed here a few times and it's been nice however the last time I stayed I was on the first floor and was woken up throughout the night by the hand dryer in the toilets on the ground floor. If you're staying here don't accept a room on the 1st floor. The other major issue for me is the car park is not included with the price of the room. Their car park is huge and empty yet they want £5 per day extra. Bit of a rip off when I paid £120 for a night. There are many other nice hotels in the area worth staying at instead.

Lovely staff who went out of their way to accommodate needs such as cot beds and questions around bills. Generally we were happy with the facilities, being a village hotel we expected it to be a bit lively at night and we were not disappointed. The room was next to a staff office or store room of some sort which could have benefitted from a soft close fitting, but during the evening this wasn't an issue, as staff stopped using it. In the morning the breakfast was well stocked and an inclusive visit to the pool was great and just what we needed before setting off. We would visit again.

Went for a family wedding. Expensive drinks and only 2 staff working a busy bar. Then the tills went down. When the manager arrived to sort things out and we explained we wanted a drink before the wedding apparently his response was" you will have to watch the wedding with no drinks". Definitely would not go back.
