Very poor customer service and quality for the price. Rude and unhelpful staff. Teachers not turning up for classes that are already often difficult to book. In my membership I was suposse to have a guest passes but they also failed to provide these. Staff was unable to resolve queries as well as unfortunately they were changing contract terms as they go along. Wouldn't really recommend signing up! You can definitely find something better for the price A

Been a member here for a couple of months and my experience so far has largely been positive, but to sum it up, it's a public leisure centre with a very premium price. The building is a few decades old and generally in need of refurbishment to truly warrant the high price of membership, generally everything just feels aged, particularly the swimming areas, showers, changing rooms and spa facilities all feeling a bit early 2000s. The gym itself is great and well equipped, but not huge and can get a bit cramped in places with often a bit of waiting for equipment to free up during busy periods. As others have mentioned the classes can be extremely difficult to get booked onto, even though many do not show up as people are forced to book so far in advance - I think attendance needs to be monitored and policed better to avoid no-shows where possible to free up legitimate space. To expand on my point about it feeling like a public leisure centre, it's important to keep in mind it's very family centric, so expect a lot of children and families in the pool. There are usually 3 dedicated swimming lanes for exercise, but don't expect a chilled swim or spa experience unless you go very late in the day. For such a high membership fee I was really hoping and expecting a more premium, exclusive experience here, but with no alternative in the area I will likely somewhat reluctantly continue to pay in the hope improvements are made in the near future.
