I have been a member of this gym both pre- and post the extension. It is by far the best gym I have

5/ 5

I have been a member of this gym both pre- and post the extension. It is by far the best gym I have been to, there is a wide variety of exercise machines paired with an endless list of fitness classes (which are extra great). The atmosphere is so friendly and welcoming and it is never too busy. There is also spaces to do your own thing and changing rooms equipped with top class showers and bathrooms. 5 stars all round. the personal trainers and staff are so friendly too! can not fault it

I've used the gym over a 2 year period on a lunch time when I've been working locally or passing by.

5/ 5

I've used the gym over a 2 year period on a lunch time when I've been working locally or passing by. Typically gym clientele concentrate on cardio during the day so I don't have to worry about squeezing in on the free weights between Conan the Barbarian and Arron Lambo. All the kit you need, free weights, resistance machines, cardio etc. You've got the option of talking the gym staff to sleep if you want to, or equally get your head down and graft-away quietly without any interruption. Conveniently placed in Blaydon just off the A1. Having been a member of David Lloyds and equally some proper back street abattoirs, as gyms go, this is a clean, very well maintained, conscientious place with which to train.
