Excellent place to stay when exploring the local area, the pub is really homely and has a great selection of drinks. The room was spacious and clean and the WiFi worked great. Staff were helpful and there was parking either in the car park or on the street nearby 👌🏼

The room was nice and comfy and the food was good, but the shower was a bit care worn. Breakfast was only a continental and took a long time for us to be served. The only woman working the room seemed stressed and unorganised. I’m unsure why covid has stopped a cooked breakfast being available, felt a bit fobbed off.

Large comfortable bed and a nice deep bath, which was great after a long walk. The room itself wasn't well ventilated and felt a bit damp. My partner disagrees with this, so it might just be me. Additionally, there was some condensation mould on the bathroom ceiling and the grouting was a bit grotty. No breakfast was available due to coronavirus, but we were told we'd be able to get something nearby. Unfortunately, we couldn't find anything open before 9.30 and so we had to cycle to Hope for breakfast, which was not ideal.
