We used Royds Withy king for our recent property purchase and were amazed at how simple and efficient the process was. Claire and her team were absolutely brilliant, professional and very knowledgeable.

Got the job done, but the communications was so obstructed. They chose to smile and assure over the phone, despite having done nothing for weeks. When we finally completed and saw the transcript of dialogue between our solicitor and the vendors, it was apparent they Royds Withy King (RWK) barely listened to us, lost the point to a lot of our questions, and frankly ignored others. They always chose to apply pressure on the vendors' solicitor by stating that our suggested date was a make or break for the sale, despite us telling them repeatedly that that date was the earliest, and any date after that was perfectly fine. Post sale, they provide one line emails in response to questions, have held onto money of ours (which we were unaware they had received via interest) for four months, and are deliberately opaque. When pressed on how the error occurred and why 4 months had passed, the communication gets defensive and down right rude. Clearly hiding the fact they knew for a while but wanted to profit. I wouldn't recommend RWK. They get the job done, but they definitely want to keep you in the dark and take advantage of the obfuscating the process.

I heard many stories about solicitors being slow with paperwork and difficult to contact. We used Jo Kent and she has been nothing but brilliant. She has been a brilliant communicator and advisor, particularly as first time buyers when we had some very basic questions on the whole process! I will definitely be using Jo in the future and will recommend everyone I know to do so.

We are very disappointed. They are not fully educated. They have provided to us really not acceptable help. Useless lawyers. Than they sent us away!

They got the job done but expensive given the lack of emails, communication etc. We constantly had to chase our solicitor for information. Last minute sting in the tail which could have been avoided had our solicitor contacted us about the post completion fee.

I have dealt with Gurpreet on a professional level for a number years now however over the last 6 months the majority of my work has meant dealing with Gurpreet more often. Given the level of work now put on solicitors with the stamp duty the communication from Gurpreet has been second to none, nothing is to much trouble and I find of late going above and beyond both later in to the evening and weekends.
