Worst hotel service and policies imaginable. This is a long and honest review and I hope people will take their time to read and avoid this hotel. I will admit I cannot actually comment on the rooms proper, but its because the hotel screwed me over $400 that I paid, didn't get back, and I wasn't even able to book in. I have emails and voice recorded conversations to back this up. Last year before covid hit I had made a booking to stay though trip.com to the hotel. after confirming the booking with the hotel directly as well as trip, then paying for it, 1.5 months later covid hit Singapore and we had to go into phase 1. Understandably, as my booking was in June, my booking had to be cancelled or postponed, so I sent in an email asking about this. They didnt reply me for 2 weeks. I sent another email, and no reply. 3 weeks after the first email, I decided to call (As I had work I didnt prioritize my time chasing after the booking), and finally they said they would respond to my email. The Arton Boutique Hotel responded to me over call initially saying that they didnt have my booking, insisting I made no booking. After almost 1 hour of conversation how could this be, they finally admitted a mistake on their end that I was booked under Trip and offered their service. (How its possible a hotel can just "oops I didnt see your booking" like that is totally unprofessional) I told them that as under the trip as well as their own hotel policy (seen on both their websites) that I would like a refund. The hotel staff that answered me told me it was not possible. I referred them to both websites saying that it was their policy to do so, and I would like a refund, the staff said they no longer continue that policy. Despite being annoyed at this hotel flip-flop, I asked them what options I had. They said the only option I had was to rebook, or lose my $400. I accepted this outcome, and told them I would reply them with my rebooking through email. After taking a day or so to check with my partner and as well as when Singapore's lockdown would lift, I decided that late October would be a safe booking so I emailed them back. They again did not get back to me for over 1 week. So I called them the following weekend to follow up, and this time a different staff picked up, and the exact same conversation I had in the above text took place, where they first insisted I had no booking, then after awhile of checking again, realized I had (all without any apology, your hotel staff needs retraining). Then I asked about rebooking, the staff said I had to do it through email, I said I sent an email already, the staff said "oh, I see it now, we will reply in 1-2 working days", I responded that I sent that email 7 days ago, he replied, "oh is it? okay then I get my manager to approve and reply now" What kind of junk clown operation are you guys running there, to only reply emails after a phone call? After waiting 3 days, the email came in accepting the new rebooking date. As well as a rebooking Fee of close to $100. I was really angry at this point, because I did not rebook, and understandably covid affected both the hotel and my booking, but I thought it was just a low-ball move to not only renege on the refund policy, but bill be another $100 to rebook my stay. I called the hotel again to ask about the $100 rebook as not being fair, the staff this time turned me over the manager, who NOW tells me its just hotel policy for them to charge rebooking fee whenever this type of incident occurs. I was furious not just at the tone of the lazy ass manager who wasnt trying to provide me with options, but at how he was hiding behind a series of lousy hotel policy flip-flops in order to justify charging me more money for a booking I had already paid for. In the end, between the attitude of the staff, and the terrible service that literally takes weeks to respond to email and calls, I decided to forego my $400. Worst way to lose money ever.

Is my 2nd stay at Arton Boutique Hotel Lavender.I will give 80% because the wifi i received was a bit slow, on and off, hardly to connect. The restroom lights a bit too dim.On next day morning i was woke up by the noise around, both the 2 times stayed.Overall,i still satisfied with this hotel. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful, perfect 💯 especially a Mr who is on duty on the date 23rd-24th dec 2020,his working hours was from 1300-2300 on my stay. Price is affordable and location is quite alright too. Room amenities were great too. But front desk service can be better, the staff weren't very responsive or cordial. Room cleanliness can be improved too - there was a small bunch of hair left and the kettle was uncleaned and had a foul smell

Very compact but nicely designed rooms. Walls are thin - you can hear the neighbors conversing even in a mild voice. Services you take for granted (like a spare room key) are charged.

Have stayed here on many occasions. Had ease with checking in, rooms were always clean but really small. It definitely is cozy, I and my fiancee had a great stay nevertheless. Bed's are soft and we always had a good rest during our stays. Would definitely return, especially due to the price, however, the location can be a bit far from many attractions, food, and amenities.
