The new owner must have poured their harts, souls and bank balances into the place as it has been transformed. The building has been renovated in sidearm out. The bedrooms have been completely renovated right down to the window hinges. Mattress are luxurious and the decor is tastefully in keeping with the building. The evening menu is restricted at the moment with 3 starters, mains and deserts to pick from but all very tasty. The staff cannot be more attractive giving the hotel and bar area a great friendly vibe. Breakfast cooked fresh to order and tea coffee and fruit juice offered for refill without having to ask. We only stayed one night as a little break away being very lucky with the weather it felt like so much more. Would we book again? We already have. Book online directly for the best prices.

Good and bad. This hotel is really beautiful, lovely outdoor garden and indoor decor. The staff are friendly and check in was quick.the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The restaurant staffs were very friendly and attentive. However, there are many things that we were not satisfied with. The WiFi is poor, can't get connection in the room. There is no refrigerators in any of the rooms. No complimentary water bottles or tissue. The iron in the room was very cheap and was insufficient. The bathroom is so elegantly decorated but that's it. The shower is the worst I've experienced, hardly any power and temperature controls are poor. Outdated furniture and could do with dusting. The hotel is overpriced as the amenities are far better in cheaper hotels.

Staff great, food was outstanding. In general, price for value is good, great swimming pool. One negative, the hotel should invest in an electric barrier and only offer key to residents as the lazy golfers take the parking spaces. Of course this would be extra cost but would be worth it.

Fantastic Hotel Room was very spacious, clean, quite and extremely comfortable beds. They catered for my daughter with several allergies really well and gave us confidence to come back again. The pool and leisure facilities are first rate and the kids had a great time playing in the smaller and larger pools. Again the staff were polite, efficient and extremely efficient. I'd like to add that there was a wedding on in the main hall and we were a little worried about the noise, however we all slept very soundly and couldn't hear a thing. Thanks to the hotel and the staff, we had a great stay.

Lovely place, but unsure of its position..is it a hotel, a golf club or spa??? Much to like, but due to the above fantastically soulless... food and staff great, and spa++ was epic, but... needs to try harder, hence only 4 stars.
