Had the most lovely stay here for 1 night - only wish it had been more! A very friendly team, delivering excellent, professional service. The dinner menu was fantastic, and everything was absolutely delicious. We also made use of the wonderful spa facilities. The view from the pool is stunning and very special. All in all, it was a magical, incredibly relaxing little break. Thank you very much!

Traditional hotel by the sea. Amazing modern beach hut accommodation with views over the bay and great restaurant. Lovely patio areas and friendly efficient staff. Steep narrow access road, well worth navigating, no parking on site, but staff will park your car.

My wife and I have just returned home from a mid week break at the Cary Arms. It was our first visit having stumbled on the venue after reading a review in a national newspaper. The location is absolutely gorgeous set right next to the sea. The road down is quite steep so be prepared for that but its worth the effort. The staff were friendly and attentive and there were plenty of them on duty. Our room was spotless and had a beautiful sea view as well as a sun terrace. We ate in the hotel restaurant both evenings and the food was excellent. We really can't find anything negative to say about the Cary Arms and we will definitely return.

Great hotel right on the seafront. Accessed via a very steep road which is very narrow, you descend from the cliff top down to the harbour and the hotel comes into view. The hotel commands a view of the whole bay with outside terraces to lunch at. The hotel itself has a bar, restaurant split between the bar area and a conservatory. A guest lounge and rooms within the main building. There are rooms designed as beach huts which have a split level lounge and bedroom. These also have deck areas outside each hut. There are separate houses for rent and a spa and gym. The food is very good with a good mix of locally sourced seafood and meat dishes. A good selection of wine and beers at the bar. I stayed in a beach hut for a long weekend and I must say that the staff were friendly and attentive. The best part of the hotel has to be the proximity to the stony beach and the views.

Surprise stay from my wife and totally fab.. We stayed in a beach hut. Hut! The name hut is so far removed from the wonderful accommodation looking over the bay. And whether breakfast or dinner the food coming out of the kitchen is fabulous. We absolutely will be going back!! 5* all the way. (And apologies for running off with the keys - obviously didn't want to leave!)

Loved our stay at the Cary arms. Felt very intimate, good quality furnishings, great breakfast, quality evening food. Staff were always helpful. Spa could be maintained better - the steam room was out of action during our visit, but I appreciated the access to the other facilities.

My partner and I went to the Cary Arms for our anniversary, and to say the trip was exceptional is an understatement. We stayed for two nights in a beach hut, which was stunning- it was beautifully decorated, had stunning views and facilities, and had complimentary snacks and a bottle of wine. It also had a private decking space with loungers to enjoy the gorgeous sea views. The food in the restaurant is just fantastic- so much choice and all delicious- both breakfast and dinner. They put a lot of effort into making interesting and original dishes, and it's definitely worth it. We spent a rainy day in the spa, which was also wonderful. I've had many a massage in my time, but the full body massage was definitely the best I've ever had! The facilities are truly faultless at Cary Arms, and every member of staff is helpful and friendly. We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend our anniversary, and couldn't recommend it more highly for anyone looking for a luxurious and romantic mini break! We will definitely be back!

Great view from the outside seating areas. Dog friendly. Bit pricey & played the old "sorry we don't have any change" game which forced us to buy an expensive packet of crisps.
