Ovisher Indian Restaurant & Takeaway oxford

Thoroughly enjoyable meal here just before Christmas with friends. Best curry I've had in years! Took take away home for hubby too and he loved it!

Lush meal! Only had a quick stop whilst between appointments, service was slow at first but once they realised we wanted quick in and out that all changed. And the food was fantastic! I'm not local otherwise I would definitely visit again

Good customer services and good food. Only downside is not exactly wheelchair accessible and no disabled toilet from what I could see.

Ordered the set meal for 2 'C' and it was great. Lots of meat. Well cooked and wonderful flavours, was even enough left over for supper the following day. The delivery driver was very polite and gave us a call as he got close. First time I've ordered from them but I'm sure it will not be the last.

Best Indian Restaurant that I've eaten in. The restaurant is extremely clean and welcoming. The tables are not too close to each other. The food was absolutely fantastic and deserved 5 stars of it's own! The Staff are extremely attentive, friendly and proper characters. I absolutely will be using the Ovisher Indian Restaurant again and thoroughly recommend it.

Unexpected find when on the lookout for dinner. Restaurant was exceptionally clean and the staff were welcoming and friendly. The food was made as requested, with generous portions and above average quality. Great value for money, and a highly reccomended takeaway in the area.

Having booked a month in advance & having rung on the day to confirm booking. They appeared to have lost it. Was shoved on a table right by the door which was being opened constantly. I appreciate they were busy but a wait for 25 mins just to order drinks was not good service. We were really considering going elsewhere. We did stay. The food was good but the service left a lot to be desired, especially as it was booked for a birthday celebration.

Excellent! Food was lovely, staff very efficient and curtious. We felt it was also good value for money for such good food.

Do not order if you have an allergy. We ordered a delivery which contained fish bhuna curry and asked for it to be made with salmon as not permitted to eat the Bangladeshi fish. The top on the container said salmon but the container definitely wasn't. When I phone to say they'd been an error they had the audacity to say that I was incorrect. I asked them to remake the item but they continued to say I was incorrect. I asked for a refund. Agreed, and for the food to be left outside to be collected. Then a phone approx 10 minutes later to organise my refund and still stating I was incorrect as a 'new customer'. All their previous customers know this is 'salmon'. Stated the colour change is due to the marinade. It is impossible as we only ordered the food 30 minutes earlier. Child took one mouthful and said this doesn't taste of salmon. 15ish minutes later they were complaining of a bad stomach. I offered to email photos more than once, but they had no interest as said they have cameras in the kitchen and knew there had been no error. I'm concerned they need cameras in their kitchen monitoring their workers. I will never eat food from this restaurant again!!
